(...) I had never seen one until two tan ones showed up in Yoda. However, I just call them 1 x 16 'bricks'. I only think of 'beam' when referring to the Technic versions. I'm not sure how much it matters... they're both LEGO pieces. :) Here's a list (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.general)
