Okay spacers, Brickfest 2k3 is right around the corner. As far as displaying models and needed space, we can wait a bit longer to get a better idea of who will be coming and what they will have built. So, please start thinking about what you’ll be bringing, how much space you will need, and any other special consideration (e.g. proximity to outlets, etc.).

But, my personal hope is that we make the largest moonbase to date. This is going to take some planning and all our parts. Who’s in? This is a best estimation based on posts, so don’t feel like you’re committed if listed. Also, size is assumed normal unless otherwise stated, so correct me if I’m wrong:

We also need to get some idea of how a monorail or other special features will fit in. I don’t think a standard was ever developed. Anyone bringing monorails? How about track?

Please refer to The Moonbase Project at classic-space.com for instruction, suggestions, standards, and tons of other cool stuff.

Sorry if I missed anyone, please respond and let me know so we can all plan accordingly.

The members of GardenSLUG are looking forward to participating. We have one Super Module and at least 3 normal modules. All of us are excited. See you there! BTW, I'll keep an eye out and help get the baseplate numbers pinned down for our group. (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jun-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space, FTX)

It's about time to start thinking about the Brickfest Moonbase. NWBCon had around 40 Modules for the first ever Fest Moonbase display....and I'm thinking Brickfest can *at least* match that. I don't want to talk about BricksWest...I think they had (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space) !!
