They look at, say, the LEGO X-wing, and see the $30 price tag, then they look at the Hasbro X-wing which comes in a box about 4 times as large for the same price, and get the big one for their kid. If the parents aren't into LEGO, they're probably not thinking about the 'replay value'. (And I think it's even worse in Aussieland, where this thread started out.) J
