Hello,
I may have a dumb question here, but....
I voted on the parts on the voting page. I made several comments in the box
below the "needs work" check box, without checking the box.  Do those • comments
get submitted as well?

Should I post those comments here too?

What Fredrik said.  If the comment is just about the part-name, you can
probably just post it in the vote.  But if you're commenting about the part
itself, it's better to post it here, and/or e-mail the author.
Ok, I will review my list and double check the parts. To make sure I wasn't
just seeing things. Then I will make a report of my findings.
I was less concerned with part origins, or names, however I was watching more
for missing surfaces, misaligned pieces, and edge lines(including conditional).
I was very impressed with the parts quality overall, and the number of them.
Good job everyone!

Will the parts authors that need to make changes be given a chance to correct
the parts before they are zipped into a 2000-2 update file?

Send 'em in!  Any fixes I get before the update goes out, I'll review and
include in the package.

Ok. Have you established any dates for the voting closing, update revisions to
be sent in, etc.?

By the way, Great job everyone, many great parts in this update!

It's great there are some new(er) authors who have really taken off.

Because of the vageries of recording multiple authors, it's hard to get
exact figures about the update.  I have captured the following rough stats,
just looking at the new and fixed part files:

194 total files
27 different authors
7.2 average files per author (not counting subfiles in s\)

That's pretty incredible!

Oh Yeah!

Steve

Once again, I will try to get that list posted, hopefully tomorrow night.

Paul
