That sounds good to me, at least in this case.  Since the overlapping
polygons are the same color, they shouldn't cause any rendering problems for
opaque parts.  It's worth noting, however, that this is not the case for
parts that may be transparent.  Co-planar polygons will always be visible
(in LDView at least) on transparent parts.  It sounds like he fixed the
problem anyway, based on his response to your post.
