As the title suggests, the 2000-02 LCAD vote page is up and running.  Please
read the following, especially if you aren't familiar with the voting
procedures.

There are some 145 new parts in the update.  Wow!  This is a big one. • <snip>
The voting page can be found at:

Have fun, and vote safely!
Steve

I think the overall quality of the parts in this update is one of the best I
have seen. An update worth waiting for - well done Steve for putting it
together and thanks to all the authors for some really excellent detailed work.
It really is good to see new authors producing high quality parts.

I have a few comments ...

x466 - Minifig Hat Stetson
I appreciate this is a tricky part, but I think it should be more curved on the
underside, and have some thickness to the brim. Also the type 5 lines are
missing from the underside.

2542 - Minifig Tool Oar
This has no type 5 lines, so never shows any outline. Is there a good reason
why the cylindrical handle has not made use of the 4-4cyli / 4-8sphe
primitives.

30201 - Panel 10 x 10 x 2 1/3 Corner Base
Not sure the origin is in a useful place on this part

32165 - Technic Connector Block 3 x 6 x 1 2/3
There seems to be a problem with the type 5 lines on the rear curves - they
show all the time.

4150p01 - Tile 2 x 2 Round with Grille Pattern
Is the white _decoration_ on this part really paint, or the part colour showing
through?

29c01 / 39c01 - Window 1 x 1 x 2 with Glass / Window 1 x 1 x 1 with Glass
Should th glass really be different colours in these two parts in 39c01 it is
47, but in 29c01 it is 39.

Regards, Chris

(...) Oops! Following the standard James Jessiman set (part 453 and many more), the colour should be 39. Someday we ought to make a complete remake of all those windows. Then the most natural colour would be 47. Someday... Thansk, Chris. Steve, (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Dunno. I can't tell, looking at the part. I thought about coding those as color 16, but I didn't. It would probably be more useful to make it the same color as the plain brick. Steve (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
