As I promised in lugnet.cad, here are TWO unofficial files for Minifig Legs with a skirt shape. Chris, My minifig helper page was never meant to be an LDraw listing. It is linked to/representative of the Bricklink catalog. I appreciate your suggestions. (...) Hm, I've got at least 2 other versions of the white 2x3 with "police" printing in different fonts, plus a "police" 1x6 (or is it a 1x8?) (...) Shell icon pattern ID (60). When I originally looked, 59 seemed like a good ID number. I don't remember my logic for picking it, though (perhaps because it *was* being used elsewhere). Tony, Tore, The 2x4 shell brick came in set <set:325 Shell service station> . That's the rare European only one with the yellow doors. I don't know yet. Have a look at: (URL) quick, before seller removes pic. Maybe we should make a difference between the Shell logo pattern and the Shell text pattern? I think so. This is what I am using to model string. It's essentially a twisted 4 sided shape. I probably should have done it using 6 sides instead. (...) The rings aren't actually for POV- they're for LDraw. They are simply sections of 16-sided "curves" (and yes- they are in the "p" directory). When I downloaded this part, I can see that Lugnet's DAT download truncated the lines to 80 characters. This totally mangled the part. (...) You've got it. When existing part files are made BFC-compliant, they have to be checked through completely. The main changes are fixing polygon wrapping and adding INVERTNEXT statements. Hi all, I tested my armor in ensemble wtih a helmet and what I had to notice, there is a ovelapping with it. I looked at the real parts and I found that the helmet is in the bottom to sloping. (...) I was imprecise. I was thinking of pulleys that are rotated 90º in relation to each other. It would look something like this in plan. Since I didn't have too much difficulty with the similar 16x16 baseplate, I've created the 32x32 Island baseplate from the Pirates line. I've updated the part to have the blue parts hard-coded blue, and the remainder of the piece (the sides & bottom) grey. For a long time, we've had a mix of orientation for asymmetric(al?) parts -- some were placed longways on the X-axis, some along the Z-axis. Awhile (...) I just uploaded a Rubber Belt Generator utility, that creates DAT files for rubber belts taut between two pulleys. The rubber belt generated can have a square section or a round one, using cylinder primitive. This utility is available from (URL) (...) So if I had a part file, which had the line: 1 1 10 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 stud.dat and I "inlined" the stud.dat, my one line would be replaced with: 1 1 10 0 0 6 0 0 (...) I know there's some writeup about dithered colors, but I believe Damien is thinking of the 'extended colors', the color codes between 17 and 26 (excluding 24) that are defined in the LDraw.org color reference.
