Hi guys, I thought we had specs for almost everything, but I was proven wrong. Looking at this pattern (URL) see 24colored edges around the pattern. I'm looking at the "Official Library Header" specification ((URL) How strictly must currently unofficial parts conform to the !LDRAW_ORG and !LICENSE lines, for example? Are those set by admins once the content of a part is certified, or as a (...) (16 years ago, 15-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

OK, I tried it on a clean machine, and it does indeed work. I did find a few more problems, though: If you hit cancel during LDraw directory selection, it just comes back again (repeatedly). Well, I haven't tried it on a clean machine yet (one without VC++ 2008), but I have tried it on my main machine, and it seems pretty good overall. I did find a few minor problems. Every time you browse for LDView.exe, it automatically checks the (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Just uploaded the latest ldraw.xml to my sites. V1.3 LDD 2.3.19 Brick ver 38.19 This time I included parts that still need work. Never mind. I'm pretty sure that the answer is that you do have the VC++ 2008 runtime libraries installed, because when I install them, LPub works. Anyone else that can't get LPub to launch can download the runtime libraries from Microsft here: (...) (16 years ago, 11-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

Reading your tutorial made me wonder whether scans of the orignal parts could be vectorized using Inkscape (Inkscape includes an automatic raster-to-vector converter). Linmix once said to me that he couldn't find a LDraw model of the (URL) Spybotics>... so I decided to cope with that beast.
