Larry, When I came home from work, I downloaded what I had uploaded this morning, and ran into the same problems everyone else ran into. I re-uploaded it (making sure I was in binary mode). (...) Are we talking linking (via Models directory) or importing? Using import, I've used up to 4 levels, and haven't seen any restriction yet. (...) are (...) Though MLCad can't automatically import MPD files, you can use a text editor to copy and past the code from MPD2 into MPD1. Hi Don, The setup was supposed to give you choices on where you wanted it to install, what program group you wanted start menus under, and confirm that you wanted to install. I'm working on one of the most complicated designs I've ever created, made of many sub-models. Some of the sub models are so complicated that they are made of sub-models. LEGO (Dacta) is used at the school I work, but I do not know if teachers use LDraw. I will ask. Some collegues saw me working with it on my computer during my break and got interested in it and downloaded the stuff for their kids (and them self no (...) While MLCadding (is that a new verb?) on the weekend I came across a couple of bugs in MLCad pertaining to comments: 1. When I add, edit, or delete a comment line, the render windows are refreshed. Ahui, If you entered your synthesis statements as comments in MLCAD, then they will not work. MLCAD comments are of the form "0 WRITE COMMENT", instead of "0 COMMENT". Edit the specifications using an editor and get rid of the "WRITE" command and (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I'm a little bit confused with the values for the MLCAD Spring Generator. I find the total height value, enter it in, and the spring it generates is actually 2 LDU longer than what I entered, even with no start revolutions. I add start revolutions (...) Kevin I am having the same issue with lsynth. Could you post the results of your findings here? The ONLY thing I can get lsynth to create is the ldraw files you provide with the application. If I try to use the parts in my own models or even just (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Tony, My rubberbelt generator (or the derived one included in MLCad) can be used to generate toruses using 4-4cyli primitive. How are those preview pics done that you can see to the left when Windows Explorer is set to view "As Web Page"? Wouldn't it be great if we could preview LDraw files just the same? Jake, From your detailed descriptions and pictures (thanks) , it looks to me like the piece you are looking for is 2819.dat (which is an official piece already).
