While MLCadding (is that a new verb?) on the weekend I came across a couple
of bugs in MLCad pertaining to comments:
1. When I add, edit, or delete a comment line, the render windows are
refreshed. This is unnecessary, and very painful when editing a large model.
2. When rotating multiple pieces, the point of rotation is affected if one
of the lines selected is a comment, eg: if you have a comment and a technic
axle, the point of rotation is different depending on whether you select
just the axle, or both. As comments dont have positions or points of
rotation, they should be ignored when deciding the point of rotation.
Also, I thought of a new feature that would be useful when working on large
models. When I first open a LDR file, I'd like the option to set all parts
to "hidden", so it doesnt render when I first load. The model I'm currently
working on takes almost 5 mins to render completely, so I've been hiding all
parts initially, then just un-hiding the section I'm working on. But that
initial load still takes 5 mins and there's no way to get around it.
Regards
ROSCO
