Though MLCad can't  automatically import MPD files, you can use a text
editor to copy and past the code from MPD2 into MPD1. However, the program
will only view the subfiles of MPD2 as new subfiles of MPD 1 (if that made
sense :)

To manually export your keyboard file, open two text editors (or Carsten
Schmitz's LDDesignPad) and copy the constituent files of the keyboard to the
other window. Save As.

How do people feel about making MPDs be able to contain MPD files?  Or am
I way of the mark?

I would have nothing against this!
