  What sets have the "witches cauldron" or "fabuland Pot"?
 
I am sort of groping for the correct name of this part. I think it is originally a Fabuland part. I KNOW 6097 has it in black. What else does? Part of my problem is that this isn't an official part in LDraw yet. I have an unofficial version someone (...) I have put up the 144 dat files for download in zip format, and self extracting (Mac and PC versions). I have also created a friendly gallery page (it gives you details of the QTVR's but doesn't start downloading them). So far my gallery has a full (...) (23 years ago, 5-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad)

I'm looking for the like in 8218, the small technic wheels, but they don't seem to exist in MLCAD. Not in Lugnet part ref either for that matter... I recreated the CAR.DAT QuickTime Virtual Reality object. This one was rendered in POV-Ray, and is very small (about 100x100 pixels), but big (444 K). Again, it doesn't seem to work with Netscape. It is almost 360 degree rotation on x and y axis (it (...) (23 years ago, 4-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I always thought the RGBs in the FAQ were supposed to be approximations of the 'real colors'. LDraw's palette is a poor match for real LEGO, and I'd hate to be stuck with it's selections. (Sorry, I hit "Post" too quickly just now) I was playing around with Regedit. I found the .dat key (under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT), and copied the settings from .dat to a new key, .ldr. (...) Heh, while searching for another tool I just discovered you can do this on the command line in 2000. Who would've guessed? Typing: ftype /? reveals the secret. I had almost done writing a long reply on this thread when a very aggressive spyware/adware triggered a large number of popup-ads that eventually crashed my system. I have found some utilities on the web that allow you to save your camera positions by "flying" around, etc., but I haven't really found this useful for LDraw (YET).
