I use an external battery pack whenever possible/practical. It has 8 (not 6) NiMh cells, providing a total of 9.6 volts. Works fine. Actually, it produces a little more power than ordinary batteries. Didn't looked yet, but this sems to scan a picture trough a lens. I have some informations about the nipkow disk, an old system invented prior to real electronic tv. I have been wondering if anyone has found a use for all the useless parts that seem to be included in sets to jack up the price and the parts count. well it has some flaws.. it gives several errors when tryin to run it on win 98 se.. one the download bat doesn't work properly..
