Re: Night Lord's Castle (6097) on sale at KBKids.com

Just checked this sale again and the price has dropped another $10 (so now 6097 is $39.95!) (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: No in-box catalogs?

For 1999 and earlier, yes, all of my Technic sets have included the expected literature too (aside from the occasional small System foldout catalog instead of the Technic catalog in some of the smaller sets.) But I'm refering specifically to 2000 (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Making LDraw Parts

Jacob, you forgot to correct item 5: (...) into 5: Draws a line between the first two points, if the last two points are on the same side of that line. Have a nice week-end ;-) /Lars (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Storage needed

(...) Those are actually one of the types of bins I've rejected. It looks like they waste about half the volume (though I guess you could lay them down, alternating back down/front down so the angled parts nest). (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Any interest in Unitron #1789 ?

(...) If there is any chance you find a second set: I would go crazy for it 8-) This set was never available in Germany and from the design and looks it´s one of my favourites !! I don´t care for new or used, but it should be in good condition.... (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: part 2951 [Off topic word usage]

(...) I too think it's hexadecagon or something like that, but had similar difficulty confirming it. I do know, however, that if you write or say "16-gon" in front of a typical group of mathematicians, not only will they know exactly what you mean, (...)   Re: Does anyone else's Pit Droid not "pop" up properly?

Mine doesn't either. The torso "pops" but there's nothing I can see that causes the legs to "pop" at the same time as they should. -- -Steven "Nothin' But Net!" (URL) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.general)

  Spare parts needed

Hello. I'm planning to auction a bunch of castle and town sets soon, and came up with a few spare parts I'd like to trade for. I prefer only US trade, and ones that can ship stuff out quickly (say, by Monday) so I can get the show on the road with (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: What kind of motor comes with the 4559?

(...) That does follow from electrical theory. Two motors draw more current, which is going to result in a larger voltage drop over the rails (since V=IR). Of course since we don't have an ideal power supply, the actual calculation is not quite so (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Target - surprise finds!

If you are still interested in the touch sensor, I can also get some of the 8247's for you (if they are $1.44 at Target, I would charge you $2.00 each for them). Plus priority shipping I guess. I know I saw a pile of them at Target in Vallejo today, (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  WTB: Gray egg shape shields!!

Hello, I am in need of about 200 - 300 egg shape shields, doesn't matter the print. Just as long as they are in excellent condition physically. I'm not sure what to offer, but I am willing to pay a reasonable price. I dont want very expensive rare (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
