  Re: Donation Fun: Christmas toys

With unlimited time, the answer seems to me to design your own small sets from some set of larger sets you can get cheaply, and give those. With limited time, I dunno. Tough question. (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.fun.community)

  Christmas tree decorations

Hi, For the past couple of years I've been decorating my christmas tree with LEGO. Last year I used all of the Shell promo sets with the Batwing flyer (2539) as the "Angel" on top. It looked great and I plan to do it again this year with traditional (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

(...) They don't even have to be suitcases. 2 weeks in a row I scrounged up suitably large (for my nefarious purposes)/small (to pass restrictions) boxes and stuffed them with stuff to bring back from Ottawa.   Re: 2000 sets should appear this weekend

I remember spotting some of the 1999 Adventurers stuff at a TRU here around Thanksgiving last year. Let me see if I can find the post... Here it is: (URL) it looks like it was early December. The 11th is the date of the post. Anyway, I expect to see (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: lego mindstorms

This answer should be pretty all-inclusive, I should think... (...) Mindstorms is a series of (currently) six sets from Lego that allow you to build homemade robots. Are they worth getting? Yeah, I'd say so; I don't have one yet, but I do plan to. (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Parts trades wanted

Hi. I need a number of parts to complete some sets and also to help finish some projects. My wants list is below; I have a number of spare parts, mostly newer but also some older ones, for trade.
