Michel, The level crossing are quite simple (sorda), all I did is hook a separate micro motor to each arm (used belt drive so not to strip out any gears and jam the arms), then got two photo cells (radio shack) and placed them inside of a 2x4 tecnic (...) Don't know much about the compiler differences (except that I thought most of the 1.1.2->2.9.5 differences would mainly cause compile-time failures, not run-time) but I have compiled every legOS thing I've done (including 0.2.1) with 1.1.2. Well the show was a success, we all survived to show again! It really did go great, it was nice to have such a larger layout this year, made things so much easier to work with. I've made a few LED 'bricks, and am about to make some more like "Flashing towers" with some of the ??name?? tapered cones and transparent small round tops. 330 Ohms is my pick; plenty bright at about 20 Ma for most LEDs and dims nicely with "Set (...) Hi, if I am not wrong, I have a problem similar to Martin's: When I load the legOS-0.2.2 kernel to the RCX, the kernel dies leaving "on -" on the LCD. I just caved and bought a couple of Throwbots (Granite and Ski) for the kids. Now I'm jealous. The gearbox in Granite would be super for gantry robots. Is there a place where to get the older lego Shuttle Launching Complexes? I think it's 6339, and there is another one 1682. Do not know if they are one and the same. I'm in the US. Dave, If you can still lay your hands on it, get the Technic Space Shuttle. I know it's an older set, but I still see them in shops occasionally (in the Netherlands). Price is around US$ 120. Hello, I was wondering what the opinions are on tan peasants, personally I think lego should make Tan Peasants for their new castle line. They would look more realistic. Only once. I bought a bunch of 8414's, and building one I found a missing bag of pieces. There was a duplicate bag of other pieces though, so upon weighing the set seemed complete. Called customer service and received the missing pieces in three (...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
