Wes,

The mini synchro drive LOOKS really cool. I wish I had a third turntable
so I could build it. Looks like Pitsco is giong to get a call on
Monday morning...

It's not really clear from the photos I looked at closely, but I'm
assuming the turntable gears don't actually mesh, right?

No, they don't mesh.  The outer gears don't turn either, so they _could_ mesh
and
it wouldn't matter.

Also, to keep the size of the JPG down to a minimum, I'd suggest taking
your photos against a plain coloured background. I violate that rule
myself on my website, but all the recent images will have white backgrounds.

Sorry, I hate loading pages littered with huge pics myself.  I put this up
without
accessing it over the internet to see what the download speed was like.  Many
apologies.  The page now defaults to smaller images which are linked to larger,
more detailed images that will open in a separate window.

I used foamcore and made up a box just for photographing models...

Great idea.  Compressed white takes up very little .jpg file space.  :)

Thanks for the feedback.  I really like the compactness (is that a word?) of the
drivetrain.  It distributes power to many places without a lot of fuss.
