One manufacturer of such a device is Fascinating Electronics of Oregon. They make a device that hooks to your serial port, you send it "commands" and it answers. Dave, I like the finite coltrol of the motors myself but can understand the request. It may encourage the "younger" programmers to use the language. Yes Chris, Unfortunately the 1x3x2 window only came in the 7760 Train Set, so that's a double whammy (only one set had them, and that set was a train system set). GMLTC has pneumo switch throws. They worked in the lab but haven't yet been proven at a show. The air lines are (gasp) non LEGO aquarium tubing... The motorized switches I made are very similar to the ones at (URL) fact I refer to them on my site. (URL) must add that the motorized points are somewhat unsatisfying. You must pay careful attention to the point and turn of the motor at the (...) (27 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

I tend to think that too much sorting is counter-productive. If you have one tray for every possible kind of part and colour, there's gonna be far too many trays for you to lay out before you can even begin building. On the other hand, if you put (...) (27 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.storage)
