I read the entire thread, and the rules and ask the question: Why must it ROLL at all? If friction is the name of the game, and if the wheels (tires) are the parts that have the "stickiest" qualities, then why not maximize the surface area of those. (...) Hi all me again. Just found some amazing part designs on brickshelf. (URL) would be so awsome if these were put into production. Kudos to whoever designed them. Hi Danny, (...) Have you seen real failures using some rechargeables batteries? I believe that the RCX motor driver IC is really foolproof, and I don't think anything could be destroyed using various kind of batteries (provided that the 9 or 10 (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-06, to lugnet.robotics)
