I recently bought a very cheap monorail point from Bricklink as it was broken, so I had nothing to lose by opening it up. Looking at the bottom ((URL) it would appear that all it takes is to release the 5 clips and the base will come off. Not true, (...) (21 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.trains)

Hello! (...) For those who have a Pick-a-Brick nearby it's much cheaper to get their oldgrey bricks from there. Yes, I got packs with oldgrey bricks from Shop-at-Home and when I sorted the pieces into my sorting boxes I realized how few pieces I got (...)   Sub-part numbers for Monorail Point/Switch Right

Having just opened one of these up, thought I'd record the part numbers in case they come in useful in the future. 2880 R - top plate 2881 R - bottom plate 2882 - switch blades 2883 - slide switch 2884 - wheel 2890 - trigger shoe 2911 - connector (...)   Hälsning

Hej! Tänkte att jag skulle posta en hälsning från andra sidan jordklotet. Jag är sedan augusti månad i Papua Nya Guinea och jobbar som volontär. (...) I wonder did you buy any sets of assorted classic grey bricks from S@H, which are still available, months after being announced? Oh wait, no that's just a ruse by TLC to try to appease the AFOLs and make some money at the same time. ROSCO (21 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)

  Appraisal of Old Style Lego

I recently purchased a heap of assorted lego at a garage sale... There is quite a lot of the old style lego, the stuff without the cylinders, in various colours.
