Of course it can steer! The mpp houses a large, horizontally mounted, flywheel
in its base.
To turn right the flywheel spins left, imparting a turning force in the opposite
direction, much like a helicopter, which needs a tailrotor to stop the body
spinning in opposition to the rotor.

(The only thing missing for image realism is the dark shadow cast over the landscape by (...) (20 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
