Hello Isaac

Thank you so much for taking the time to post.  I greatly appreciate it.

I'm flattered that you'd go to such trouble.  A bit boggled, mind you, but
flattered.  :)

I still can't believe someone else besides me would put 8 hours of work into
a minifig, especially on the paint job

This is going to sound a bit odd, but 8 hours is actually kind of short for some
of the projects I've done.  The Hansom Cab driver is definitely one of the most
paint-intensive projects ever for me, though.  It might be added that this is
the _second_ attempt.  I'd pretty much finished doing that brown torso in a
different tartan pattern, and just wasn't happy with the results, so I sanded
things back down to bare plastic and started over.

(I mostly spend/waste my time on doing
custom accessories)

I have seen some of your work, and admire your dedication in getting your
prototypes into production.  Congratulations.

but the result of your works certainly justifies the
effort you put into them. Great to have you here, and I hope we'll have the
opportunity to share/exchange our customizing tips sometimes in the future.

I look forward to the chance.

I'm working on a couple of things that will likely lead to a post concentrating
on modification techniques (as opposed to painting) in the next several days.

All the best,

Norbert Black

Hi Norbert, I was actually just admiring your pics on Brickshelf the other day, and I liked them so much that I was determined to find out who you are by searching for your name on Lugnet, and voila I found this thread :) I still can't believe (...)
