The old style of flat tile didn't have indentations at the bottom and, as a result, are a pain to prise off baseplates! I'm not sure when they swapped over though as my non-indented flats were inherited from my brother - I wasn't old enough to play (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

Hi Pat, I think the goal is to create a sort of site akin to Castle World, where people can bring their creations together to exist in a more closely-knit "galaxy."
