  4559 works with 7835?
 
Hi I'm new to both this newsgroup and Lego train. Recently I bought a 4559 train and I have an old 7835 level crossing. I'm just wondering if they work with each other and if not, how can I work ith the 7835 set so that the rail will actually work (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

I'm doing an SW-xxxx (probably a 1500 because it won't have top rounded windows) and I decided to do it in C&NW colors because yellow and green aren't used much in existing Train models. Matt, to add ammunition to your arguement, PM trains utilize allot of LGB components and this basic LGB passenger car/van design has been around for some time, I believe. [side note: PM track is actually LGB track.] It is a corporate mystery when (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

I built a UP EMD DDA40X a while back (which was, I believe, the longest loco ever built at 98'5") which was 70 studs long and could take turns (but with no articulation). Sadly, it has (...) Here's my opinion on the new sets (in descending order) 1. 4519 Cross track. Very cool. Really the only 99 set that is in the same league as the original 1991 train sets. A Must Buy 2. 4557 Container Crane. Nice set, with almost no Town Jr (...) (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

The sets are very disappointing. I was very excited by the Austrian Rail Car, which I was never able to find, and sets like the Metroliner. Have to get a closer look when I'm at work with a T1. I did have a chance to notice the snow plow. It looks like there is a special wheel between the other two. Perhaps it is used to drive the blade on the snow plow? That would be cool. Also the (...) (26 years ago, 26-Dec-98, to lugnet.trains)

Does anybody have one yet, or are they backordered until July '99? Is it "Train, Jr." (is the undercarriage only one piece)? How well does the platform stay horizontal when in the raised position? And, how come so many of the New For '99 sets/kits (...) (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.trains)

I'm sorry. LEGO '98 bricks are not backwards compatible with your old outdated plates. We suggest you upgrade to DirectBrick7.0 technology and reinstall.
