Have to get a closer look when I'm at work with a T1.  I did have a chance to
notice the snow plow.  It looks like there is a special wheel between the
other two.  Perhaps it is used to drive the blade on the snow plow?  That
would be cool.  Also the train wash has a 9v symbol on it.  Does that mean the
rotatry brushes are motorized?  If so, do they get the power from the track?
Hmm.  lots of questions.

Guess we can pretty much wash away all the rumors of the train line being
discontinued.  :)

Also, I wouldn't quite call the sets train jr.  Just a little more on the play
side then realism side.  All in all, I consider Lego trains a toy train and
not a model train.

Maybe it's just me, but after seeing the scans that MirrorSpock just put
up and looking at the train wash, the new container crane, the rotary,
and especially the new station, I am left with the feeling that Train
has been a bit Juniorized. That 3 wheel motorcycle appears again, the
station uses the big 3 pane preprinted windows, there is that silly
/---\ element again, etc.

Just me?

Sigh.

That rotary especially seems ridiculous

(...) If you look at the right-most wheel, it seems to have metal on the flanges. That could be a pickup for power to the plow. (but it could just be reflections) ____ |oooo| Cheers, |oooo| Wouter van Wageningen ¯¯¯¯ (26 years ago, 27-Dec-98, to lugnet.trains)
