An optical illusion most likely. You can spin it near the monitor but looking next to the screen and it will turn only one direction. I did it! Torso- pretty much copied from Ultrarex's dual throwing arm, from Jet's instructions. Most pieces in this arm are found in Jet (in different colours). Thanks for the info, but where is this Wal-Mart located? The on-line store at Wal-mart.com appears closed for renovations. And Wal-Mart's sales vary greatly from store to store. If you can find it, buy the 8268 Scorpion Attack. It has 81 pieces and instructions for a plane and a helicopter. Neat stuff includes a Cyber Cannon, purple angled beams, a cyborg pilot, and some strange scorpion plates. The playability of this (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

Hi, What state are you in? In Melbourne I have seen the Power Puller at David Jones, a bit pricy though. TRU are selling the 8462 Tow Truck for $136, which is good if you want pneumatics. Basically look for sets on special, usually the older ones, (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

Time to jump in.... The FOS uses a small surface mount LED. It's about 2.5mm x 3 mm and mounted to a thin PCB. There are what look like diodes and what I would guess are current limiting resistors on the board also, so good luck trying to have (...) (...) Yes. Of course. Those are the best ones. LED's are basically just Diodes that make light. So you can "Twist" two LED's together to get one on each polarity. (...) If you don't use a tiny ultra bright one you won't get much... Also, the circuit it the thing is already making sure the power flows to the LED one way. So you'd have to disable that as well if you want the multicolour LED's. My favs are the (...) Has anyone cracked opened one of the FOS units? What is the light source? I assume that there is only one light source that is somehow distributed by the rotary action.
