batteries.  Why doesn't LEGO get a custom lithium ion type battery, the
laptop kind, for RCX 2.0.  That could make it REAL small.  And it would
last longer between charges.

As a first version, the RCX is pretty dang awesome, but I think there is
room to improve.  Any comments?

(...) more than a little impressed by it. Why didn't LEGO base their RCX unit on it? Or why not the MIT Programmable Brick? (It at least had more I/O ports than the RCX does) The 6811 microcontroller is, from what I remember from electronics class, (...) (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
