Oh. I just got a usb or ps/2 optical mouse (with a wheel!) for $20 at compusa. I'm not sure who is trying to get an optical mouse to work with the Rcx, but i'd like any information on it that they have. Doing a little research, I found out that, when (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Depending on your lego skills, it would be better to follow a few simpler designs at first, building the bot is only about half the battle the other half is getting the code to make it do what you want. You need experience with sensors, motors, how (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)

You can put rotation sensors on each wheel, and then monitor them for changes. If one gets ahead of another, then slow that motor down. This works well, but differences in the wheels cause it to turn slightly. Andy (...) (25 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)
