...A 'variation' on that question is 'did you get your money's worth?" And I want honesty
from people here! Course, the fest itself was free, but things like airfare and hotel
rooms can add up (and unfortunately, there are no real cheap hotels in that area, tho it
will be something we look for next time).

Did anyone look into a "group rate" for rooms at hotels?  Sometimes you
can get a fairly significant discount that way.

...We blocked a few rooms for the fest. They gave us a group discount, but I'm not sure
how much :-/

What were the final Brickfest attendance figures, anyone know?

...Not sure just yet... still recovering :-)

And a further Brickfest question...is it going to be a yearly event in VA?
Or is it going to be a yearly event that moves around the US, hosted by a
diferent LUG each year?  It would be kind of cool to have it up here in
the New England area, maybe TCS would help out.  (On the chat we bandied
about the idea of Brickfests East, Central, and West, all connected via
internet.)

...We will do this annually. It was just too much fun not to! Tho we have also talked
about 'exporting' the idea and helping other groups do a brickfest in their area. But
that's likely something that we wont be able to work on till after next one.

As my friends who organize sci-fi & anime cons tell me, it's never too
early to start planning for next year...

...already started :-)

...you can go back to ignoring me now...
