Exolprers? I think I have some (that I can claim are) of those... (lessee, a
timmy sitting on a 4x4 quad inverse with two 2x8 black plates for wings.

YOu have to fake a depression. That is, use a few plates to build up the
land around the blue edge. The wharf can be one of those pole affairs that
is mostly way above water, have a ramp from the land edge up to the wharf
(maybe it sits on stacks of 2 1x1 rounds
