By the time it gets to your mountain, the monorail track has jumped up
another level and is at 22 bricks above ground level. You can just
barely see on the .jpg or .gif file (I recommend printing the latest
version out as big as you can get it from your printer!) little white
chevrons on teh monorail track - that's where it goes up a level. It
reaches the mountain already 22 bricks up and stays there the whole way
round. The actual 9v train track is all at ground level, so your
mountain cliff should reach ground level again at the N end of your
northern baseplate (with a few studs clearance sideways for teh track).
The monorail track can leap on and off the mountain ledge onto its
pillars pretty much anywhere you need it to. Bear in mind the mountain
can be higher than the monorail track, the track doesn't have to run
along the top. Also note the road disappearing into a tunnel under teh
mountain. Have fun!
