You are correct sir. Insert a "necessarily" in the appropriate place so my
statement reads:
That an opinion is being ignored doesn't *necessarily* make it wrong or even
irrelevant.
I would say that these particular opinions (that we ought not to meddle,
that we need a measured response, that we ought not to restrict civil
liberty further) are *not at all* wrong or irrelevant. I differ with the LP
on how measured the measurement ought to be, my yardstick is, I think, a bit
bigger...
But I suppose you would expect me to say that I thought the LP was mostly
right, ne?
