I just saw that Meijer's (add on the "Thrifty Acres" if you're old enough to remember it) is having a LEGO sale this week. I don't have the flyer handy, but I believe it was 20% discount. I volunteer my house! That way I won't have to drag around a bunch of LEGO stuff. I live within 3 blocks of where I-94 & I-696 merge in St. Clair Shores. As an avid collector and builder of Lego's for years, I took an opportunity to buy what I wanted, and I did. You can go and buy all the sets (...) I've only opened one, one of the TIE-Fighter/Y-Wings. The others are for my kids, some as Easter-basket presents, and the others prolly as birthday presents. Scott, Here is a tip for you: when the Carpenter Meijer gets the sets -- you better run yourself over there and them right away. Because if I get there before you (and I intend to) I'm going to buy them all up, and then sit in front of the Meijer (...) Hi, Pam! It seems like the West Michigan stores are (generally) running lower inventory on LEGO than they used to... And the sales aren't as good. Well, I haven't put up the sign yet, but I did buy a whole bunch of Lego sets at the Canton Super K when they were 20% off and more recently I bought some of the 25th ann. buckets to give to the kids when they get older.
