LEGO in Lowell

I found a small shelf of LEGO sets in the Lowell (MI) Rite-Aid the other
day. The manager indicated they had been there awhile -- I must not
have stopped by in a longer time than I thought.
No outstanding prices or selection, just such an anomoly I figured I
should report it. Actually, the prices aren't bad--I expected any LEGO
in Lowell would have to be overpriced.
The sets were all small ($10 and less). There were UFO, Insectoids,
Res-Q and Town Jr.
I snagged the one 6596 Wave Master and the one 2151 Robo Raider. Each
was priced at $8.00. Oh, wait, that is a good price on two discontinued
sets (one very discontinued and 60% off MSRP).

| Reporting from Kalamazoo/Plainwell - there has is hardly any selection in any Target, Walmart, TRU, etc., new or older. And the only good sale was a few weeks ago in Walmart the 5978, Adventurers Sphinx Secret Surprise, was on clearance at $35.00 - (...) (27 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mi.grr)
