Unfortunately, it seems to be a 50/50 sort of thing...some users have no
problems whatsoever, some just can't make the .ttf file work-I'm stymied myself.

I don't remember if any success stories have been posted (I may have seen
e-mail on it) but if there is anyone out there who has made this work for
them, please post a little how-to or something here. I know I'd appreciate
it, and I think others would too.

My main problem is that I tried to compress the font files into a StuffIt
self-expanding archive for Windows, and that generates an .exe file. For
some reason, after linking to the file from the page, it doesn't show up as
a download. I'm not sure if it has to do with the .exe file and the server
permissions for .exe, but that's what I suspect. What I need to do is burn
the files to CD, get them to a Windows machine, and use WinZip to create the
downloadable file (I've tried e-mailing them to a Windows user, but they
don't work, even with compression off, once they have been encoded through
my Macintosh e-mail client). If anyone else has any tips or pointers, let me
know.

I'm working on this this week, as I have the 'real' version of our site
finished and ready to post. I'm also polishing some new fonts and at least
one icon pack for consumption. I'll post more on that later.

NT4 SP4.  I copied them into the Fonts directory, the system could not see
them.  So I downloaded them to another drive, and Explorer sees them, gives the
TT font icon in it's display, but if I doubleclick on them, it says they are not
valid fonts.  If I open Control Panel, Fonts and try to browse to that other
drive, they don't show in the file browser, it just says "No Fonts".

Hey Tom, I got the same thing with Windows 98, Second Edition. Any ideas
why Matthew?
