I think this is the key to TLC's problem. Look at it these points:
1. The LEGO "systems" are for construction toys.
2. Some kids don't like to build. Some kids only like to build
occasionally. A relatively few kids *really* like to build.
3. TLC wants to sell more toys.
Marketing conclusion: LEGO toys should be changed to appeal to more kids.
So what we've gotten over the last few years is construction toys with less
construction. What's the point of that? If TLC wants to reach the market
of kids who aren't keen on building toys, they should start making
different kinds of toys, that aren't LEGO-building-system based.
Then they could make everyone happy.
