I have to totally disagree with the notion that Harry Potter is a fad. I was
very skeptical to belive this until I actually read the books. Fads are
genrally characterized by only appealing to children. (pokemon for example)
Harry Potter on the other hand is liked by just as many adults as it is
children. Any Lego set designed toward children with the patience to read the
Harry Potter books will be IMHO a true Gem. Of course if Lego does something
stupid (YET AGAIN) like junuiorizes these sets they will turn off the
type of childeren that form their core market. (Juniorized sets are clearly
geared toward the average kid. Lego sets used to and should still be geared
toward the average kid who LIKES CONSTRUCTION TOYS. The only sets that group
has right now in the system line are starwars and Life on Mars.) If Harry
Potter sets are done with the old school design methods then they will totally
rock for any town and castle fan.
