Anthony, great work! It's simple in it's design, not becoming bulky, and it's not too difficult to build (considering you have the right bricks :-). They do exactly that with t-shirts, mugs, books, CD's, etc. The paperwork/legal aspects of such a venture are easy to deal with following the Cafepress (...) Was Jake talking about the tolerances of the actual mould whereas the Lego facts are refering to the bricks themselves. I agree with you that the idea the Lego company has with regards to creating other sets would be a good one, given the substantial number of very nice creations that did not win. I just purchased on EBAY (from a Danish seller) a huge lot of ancient Lego bricks and windows/doors from 1949-57. This includes Automatic Binding Bricks (1949-52) early Lego bricks 1953-54, Town Plan System early bricks (1955-56) and the forerunner (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.general)

Hate to burst your bubble, but it'd be a *HUGE* fire hazard! ABS and other plastics are basically just solid oil. They'll burn like mad once they reached a certain temperature and started to outgass. Even covering a wall with baseplates would (...) (21 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.general)
