It's partly that, Dan. Do you remember how great it was to have the public
viewing at 2003 where all the younger builders and their parents flocked around
you to ask 'How do you do that?'
That's what this is about. Legoland is just a means to an end. By far, it's THE
place to get Lego lovers together to join in their love of the brick. Some folks
were there just to gawk at the cool stuff, but many of them were actually moved
by what they saw. I just don't see how we could replicate this environment in
Portland, Oregon. It seems quite silly to even try.

This is where I have to stop you. WHY does it have to be relocated. No one has
answered that yet and until they do, nothing is getting moved anywhere by anyone
unless they've got major fan backing to do it, which they don't.

What this is doing is killing my plans to go to NW Brick Con. I had planned to
go, but if I'm just going to be back up north in a couple of months, then really
what's the point? This is why Portland is a BAD idea.
