Aaakk! This is worse trying to vote for the two categories! Before there was often a well done model in a well done scene that stood out. Eric, I'm sure the progress is slow, but it is coming. Tim Courtney E-mailed me, Ryan Dennett, and Todd Lehman about some developments... Hi everyone!! I'm going to give a general summary of how LDraw happenings went at Brickfest. Right now I'm away from my computer (actually at Bram Lambrecht's in Cleveland) so I can't post pictures and write articles for the site just yet. And (...) When will the next parts update be ready? It's been over half a year and as a person who has authored a few parts I am anxious to know if they were acceptable or not. Is there any requirement that LDraw/rendered submissions use only "official" part/color combination, or that they use only "official" LCad DAT parts? When I vote for MOTM, I consider both the rendering and the model. However, if there are enough POV gurus out there that can submit fairly good models with superb scenes, they could possibly take all votes away from people who make incredible models (...)
