Actually I think you missunderstood something (or maybe I did), but the
0 INVERSE
meta command is to be used ONLY with file references, that is:
0 INVERSE
1 16 x y z a b c d e f g h i filename.dat
where (a b c d e f g h i) represents the usual matrix which has to be reverted.
i.e. you must adapt the following quads down the chain of this file reference,
due to the inversion made by the matrix.
This can be easilly accomplished by reverting (toggling internally) the meaning
of the CCW and CW windings.
