  Re: *** LDView Version 3.2 Released ***

(...) As a fellow software developer, I understand the need for people to report issues they come across. Sadly, we just do not have the time, money, hardware, patience, etc to test every scenario while still writing all the new stuff as well. On (...) (19 years ago, 24-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Bug in current version of LDList

(...) Not sure if themes have to be enabled or not. However, it looks like the setting is bit 3 in a registry key. See here: (URL) that the value appears to be stored in little endian binary, instead of a DWORD, so be careful if you're modifying the (...) (19 years ago, 24-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: *** LDView Version 3.2 Released ***

(...) Thanks. Glad to hear that the problem has corrected itself. And even though that happened, I'm still glad that you reported your problem. I actually don't get enough bug reports from LDView. I'd say about half the bugs that I see and fix are (...) (19 years ago, 24-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Bug in current version of LDList

(...) If it doesn't happen to you, it's obviously kind of hard (read: well-nigh impossible) to fix. Having said that, as far as I know, the setting is enabled by default (at least in Windows XP). I know exactly how to enable and disable it with (...) (19 years ago, 24-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: MOTM Contest Questions and a Proposal

(...) As the person who wrote the current rules here's my reasoning behind this. The issue is not the fear of models being sold or something like that, it is simply not forcing someone to do something they don't want to do. The MOTM contest doesn't (...)   Re: LDraw File Format Spec 1.0 DRAFT - Call for Public Comments

(...) My issue with spaces is not with programs supporting them or not, it's that the elements inside a line are delimited by spaces, you have 1 <space> color <space> x <space> ... <part> but then when it comes to file names that rule is broken. I (...) (19 years ago, 22-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Portable MPD Submodel Names

(...) Actually, I think you are correct. It makes sense from that perspective. The line type 1 naming rules apply to anything referenced by a type 1 line, including submodels. Thanks, Mike! Jim (19 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dev)
