Actually, I think you are correct. It makes sense from that perspective. The
line type 1 naming rules apply to anything referenced by a type 1 line,
including submodels.

Linetype 1 is for referencing to an existing LDraw file, doesn't matter which type (part, subpart, primitive etc.) So it is not necessary to describe that in the MPD Language Extension. The MPD Language Extension is (...) (17 years ago, 22-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dev)
