(...) Yep, that should work. You might get some funky pieces around the edges of the mesh, but most of it should be good. If you want a studs up landscape, use "-q -n" in your commandline. (...) (...) I used someone else's library to read in the PLY files, so I'm not sure what it prefers. STL is a simpler format, so I wrote that parser myself...and haven't had any problems with it. (...) The paper itself looks exactly like papers I've looked at in the past that were presented at SIGGraph. It seems to not like (...) Just wondering if there are models for the tire and wheel included in the final NXT kit? The wheel hub has circles inside instead of the spokes for the preview kits. The tire has sort of an alternating traction design instead of checkerboard. (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

While there may be no official update, a huge amount of effort has gone on behind the scenes ... reduction of the number of held parts on the tracker from an all time high of 331 to the current 144 around 60 of the 100 non-CA parts have been (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

I did some updating of the unofficial NXT sensor parts. The light sensor now has the orange depression that the real sensor has. The sound sensor now has the horizontal holes in the nose that the real sensor has. I did minor mergining of some (...) (18 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)
