Ahem Ahem... I know that at least Mladen and myself do this and I've been
spreading the word. You pretty much have to if you design mecha. I do, however,
agree that it is annoying to deal with when people don't (I'll name no names...
Swami).

It is not terribly hard to do in MLCad and to recenter a submodel you just
select all and move it (sometimes a bit annoying as you have to work out the
pivot and translate accordingly). You then have to move it in the vector
negative in its parent.
