While using MLCAD just now I found a very basic part missing from the library namely the technic pulley. Not the six hole one but the one thats one brick wide with an axle hole. It wasn't this piece I was actually after but rather the spoked version (...) (22 years ago, 15-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)

Hi Michael, Thanks for the new version! I'm really looking forward to using some of the new features. I've been testing the mini-fig generator, but I keep getting errors when I try to load it. I figured out what my problem was, in my POVRAY.ini file I had the settings initial_frame = 0 final_frame = 0 initial_clock = 0 final_clock = 0 included, so POVRAY kept rending the images with Stepping and putting an number on the end of my .bmp (...) I have a test project called test.ldr with 4 steps. When I run LPub and use the Instruction Images feature everything seems to go just fine for the first step. Hmm... The flag 6 x 4 (#43) is actually 6 x 3 1/3. Flag 6 x 4 (#43P01) is 6 x 4. Strange. I do not own any of these two parts, but I think part 43 is either mesured wrong or the description is wrong. This is very cool, I see from the TOC that there are lots of plugs for our favorite LEGO web pages as well...nice. Was there any issue with putting all of the different freeware on a disk? There is another way, but it's not for the feint of heart. It's distributed raytracing. People have hacked pov and made it run across multiple machines. I have a lan connection of my desktop PC and my laptop I have win XP on PC and WIN 2K on laptop. Is it possible to use both computers same time over lan so I can render faster? If how? (22 years ago, 11-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Yes, the CR endings are my fault. When you download the LDRAW.sit file from my website you're getting a copy of what I have on my working disk. I've fixed mine since trying L3P but haven't uploaded it. I think I will just point to the Linux (...) (22 years ago, 11-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Hi, What is the procedure for new colours? Like the new colour used in the Santa Fe cars. I use Color399 now and have made a POV material definition for it. I have made a little utility (again) that corrects lines in dat files if: * One (not two or three) of the rows ({a,b,c}, {d,e,f}, and {g,h,i}) are all zeroes... AND * y-column (b,e,h) values are all zeroes but not x- or z-column. It simply fills in (...) (22 years ago, 11-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)

There is one thing I'd like to see in LDDP (and this time it's not already there!) Since at least 14 years back, I use Ctrl+Ins, Shift+Ins, and Shift+Del for copying, pasting and cutting text. It works with almost any DOS or Windows application but (...) (22 years ago, 11-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)
