  Star Wars Vignette

I don't recall having seen any Star Wars vignettes (well other than the storyteller sets), so I thought I'd try doing some of my own. Maybe I'm the first, I'm pretty sure I'm the first StarWars Vignette at lugnet.build.vignette. So anyhow, here's (...)   Re: Curious old baseplate

(...) Cool ASCII art there. The roadplate is a Samsonite plate from the 1970's. Fairly rare to find today. It's listed as set 078 on Lugnet: (URL) a few pictures on Brickshelf: (URL) one I've seen had very unusual rounded top studs, instead of the (...) (21 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

awakened from deep hypersleep I have returned with new MOCs

I have been away from Lugnet for quite a while but continued to build. Check out some cool space stuff... First up is the Ice Planet 2002 moonbase Gas Extraction and Storage Facility (URL) Started as an L corridor to go between two other moonbases (...)   Re: clip on train motor

(...) Sure thing - you should glue it back on to take advantage of the full functionality, but it's not critical per se. I've used superglue on a couple of mine, when some used motors' clips split away from the main body of the motor. That (...) (21 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Original Legoland Castle Torsos

(...) Hi Carter, These Torsos are selling for $5 on average on BrickLink. If you have the complete Minifig they are worth about $10 - $12 each. (URL) (21 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, FTX)

Re: Redesigned mini train wheel (!)

(...) Sweet! Now I have an excuse to pick up some 4855s on discount. I have some badly squeaking wheels on my MOWs that cause much cringing at train shows. Thanks for the tip, Rick. Ed (21 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: I'm not Japanese. Really.

Soren, your MOC is awesome, very impressive as usual. So much details in such a small size ship! The greebles are neat, and each of them looks like having a function. It's not just greebles for texturazing, to fill an empty space. I'll definitly (...) (21 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Curious old baseplate

Hi, I have a baseplate that I can't find on Lugnet or Peeron. It's 50x50, less than plate thickness (whatever the term for that is), green, and has smooth grey roads 14 studs wide. The roads enter on three of the sides, curve a bit, and meet close (...) (21 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Original Legoland Castle Torsos

(...) Hi Carter, The bricklink page ( (URL) )does not have a specific price for these torsos as they are usually sold as complete figures in the $3-4 dollar range apiece. Of course figures have the hard to get light grey helmets and weapons. So I (...) (21 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, FTX)

Re: LDraw's Autostep does not work in Lpub?

(...) Hi Mitchell, LPub has no support for autostep. I didn't even know about it until you mentioned it. LPub supports STEP and ROTSTEP meta commands, but not autostep. If you read the LPub help file you wil find no mention of AUTOSTEP. Having made (...) (21 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Joe Vig's Twin Sisters

I was inspired to build a little vignette after reading Nelson Yrizarry's perils of Joe Vig. "The street corner held an chance encounter for Joe when he bumped into his twin sisters and their new boyfriends." You can tell they're Joe's sisters (...)   Next Studfest, WH40k? (was Re: Sydney Studs Meet this Sunday 13 March - Woo Hoo!)

In lugnet.loc.au, Richie Dulin wrote more about the last fest. There was talk about a possible opportunity for the end of April at Quakers Hill, along Warhammer 40,000 lines. I have been enjoying the Warhammer challenge. I'm pretty happy with my new (...) (21 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: When the King got more money (bigger yellow castle)

WOW! This is the nicest castle I've seen in a long time! Love the towers, the interesting angles, and the asymetry. Magnus (21 years ago, 20-Mar-05, to lugnet.castle)
