Apparently, Starship needs new blood or a new active Sector.

I just got home from work and checked my e-mail, and there were two -- one from
Avery, and one from Jason Dugan.
For those of you who are not familiar with our story...
Avery and his big mouth convinced us that we should come out of the dark age as
we sat drooling over trains. As we were space fans too, he got us into sci-fi
ships.
WE includes myself, Jason Dugan, and Alan Dengher,
Well we thought first to start up a Brik wars community based off of the
computer game Alpha Centauri. Unfortunately, as we were setting up the web site
and rules and graphics, we were also asking for permission from the company that
held the copyright so that we would not later get into trouble. They would allow
it but with limitations. So, it will take a bit more time than imagined, and we
need more players before it gets started. Until that happens, the three of us
are taking Avery's advice and joining up with Starship to get into some action,
get our names known, develop our fledgling building styles, and start developing
a community.
At any rate, Avery said that there will be nothing happening in Starship until
someone or someones step up to the bat and start doing something, only then will
there be something going on.
So, I joined, and now Jason is joining soon. He has his e-mail set up -->

I have decided that I am going to go ahead and grab a sector, that way there are
more than just Avery's and Andrew's (who I have yet to meet).
Richard, thank you for the information, I was looking for a kind of adventure
like I saw on those web pages and I think I will hold my ship until those
sectors come back up. Maybe there will be some ships come into my sector when it
is up.

this species from SM Avery with his permission.) Reside, but do not control.
