I've never tried that - it sounds like a good idea, although for some reason I'd
feel more guilty about "modifying" the minifig fireman's axe than I would about a
3-axle with stud :-)

There are some great uses for these - they can be used to hold in a bracing beam
if you don't want the entire width of the hole in the beam occupied. This saved an
8 tooth gear from being rebored in my latest model!

| (...) one (...) lego (...) Right on!!! :) I like nothing better than sawing away at my Lego, and gluing them together for the greater purpose, I just make sure that the parts aren't vital for something else:) Did you try taking a piece of "handle" (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)
