Thanks for the feedback Michael -
I can't remember ever using sticky back plastic (or is that double sided sticky
tape?) in my Technic creations, although I've no doubt been tempted to do so at
some point in the past :-)
The problem you mention is really the tricky part of those models in a nutshell,
with the additional problem of preventing them falling apart when used. I
suppose there are really three dimensions here - aesthetics, mechanics, and
bracing, all of which tend to contradict each other to some degree or other.
Take this to technic figure scale and one's sanity can take a real hammering
trying to achieve what at first seems impossible. Ironically, the solution is
usually quite simple in the end, it is getting there that is the problem...
